Our Team

Pastor Sami grew up in Pennsylvania. She graduated with her Masters in Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina. Before beginning her ministry at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, she was on leave from call to support her family while they were stationed at Naval Station Rota, Spain. She served her first call at a congregation in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Her husband, Josh, is also an ordained pastor and serves as a Navy Chaplain and is stationed here at Camp Lejeune. Their daughter Susanna is the joy of their lives.

When she has the time, one of Sami's favorite things to do is listen to an audiobook or podcast and practice hand embroidery. 

Pastor Sami is passionate about sharing the good news of God's life-changing love for all people, and helping folks figure out their part in that ministry for the sake of the world.
